Biography

Angélica Vale, born on November 11, 1975, in Mexico City, is a renowned Mexican-American singer and actress, widely recognized for her work in music and television. As the daughter of beloved Mexican icon Angélica María and comedian Raúl Vale, she grew up in the spotlight, starting her entertainment career at a young age. Her musical journey began in 1989 with her debut album Angélica Vale, followed by Nuestro Show No Puede Parar in 1990 and Atrapada En Los 60's in 1992, showcasing her versatility and passion for Mexican pop and nostalgic sounds. Known for her comedic talent, she gained fame impersonating singers like Verónica Castro on the show La Parodia, where she also sang the theme song. Her acting breakthrough came in 2006 with her starring role in La Fea Más Bella, which led to the release of the show's popular soundtrack. Angélica Vale later collaborated with Ricardo Montaner on the 2008 album Navidad con Amigos, and in 2015, she honored her family legacy with Dinastia: Angelica Vale y Angelica Maria. In 2017, she sang along Los Bukis' Marco Antonio Solís on "La Llorona" from the soundtrack of the Disney film Coco.
