Biography

AndrÃ©sâ¯Moralesâ¯Troncoso and Lucasâ¯GonzÃ¡lezâ¯GÃ³mez formed the Spanish pop duo Andyâ¯&â¯Lucas in 2003. Their early collaboration stemmed from a shared school friendship, and they released their debut single "Tanto la querÃa" in 2003, followed by the album Andyâ¯&â¯Lucas on 27â¯Mayâ¯2003 under Sonyâ¯BMG, which achieved 4Ã Platinum status in Spain. In 2004 they issued the album Desde mi barrio, which earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Pop Album by a Duo or Group with Vocals. Their 2007 release Ganas De Vivir and 2010âs Pido La Palabra earned further commercial success. After parting with Sony Music in 2018, the duo launched their own label, A&L, and released Imparable in 2016. In Novemberâ¯2023 they announced an indefinite pause due to Lucasâs cardiovascular condition; their final tour concluded on 10â¯Octoberâ¯2025 at Palacio de Vistalegre in Madrid, after which AndrÃ©sâ¯Moralesâ¯Troncoso pursued a solo career.
