androp are a J-pop and alternative rock band formed in Tokyo in 2008. They made their recording debut with the album 'Anew' in 2009 followed by 'Door' (2011), which went to number 15 on Japan's Oricon Albums Chart. 'Relight' (2011) reached number 12, 'One and Zero' (2012) number 14, 'Period' (2014) number ten, 'Androp' (2015) number eight, 'Best [and/drop]' (2015) number 17 and 'Blue' (2016) number 19.
Their singles include 'World, Words. Light./You' (2012), which hit number 19 on the Japan Oricon Singles Chart and number 22 on Billboard's Japan Hot 100. Other tracks include 'Boohoo' (2012), 'Voice' (2013), 'Missing' (2013) and 'Shout' (2014), which peaked at number 24 on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart and number seven on the Japan Hot 100. 'Ghost' (2015) went to number 13 on Japan's Oricon Singles Chart. The single 'Koi' came out in 2019.
