Ana Christensen is an American-born, Australian singer-songwriter. She began her musical journey in Townsville, Queensland, Australia, where she started singing as a soloist and later collaborated with Michael Heytman. In 1986, Christensen won multiple awards at the Charters Towers Country Music Festival, including Female Vocal, Gospel Solo, Bush Ballad Duo with Heytman, and the overall Grand Prize. This led to a tour with Freddy Fender and Ayr's Saddle Tramps in June of that year. She released her debut album Deep in the Night in 1988 under Nicholls N' Dimes Records. In early 1990, Christensen signed with CBS and released her second album Brave New World. Her single "Isolate Your Heart" from this album gained significant attention. In 1994, Ana Christensen moved back to the United States to be with her family and left the music industry.
