Biography

American Me, a metalcore band from Portland, Oregon, was formed in 2006 by high school friends Tony Tataje and Brian Blade. Initially a side-project of the melodic hardcore band, It Prevails. American Me evolved into a full-time endeavor with a heavier sound. The band signed with Rise Records in 2007 and released their first studio album, Heat, in 2008. Their second album, Siberian Nightmare Machine, was released in 2009. In 2012, American Me released their third studio album, III. Notable tours include the "Japan Tour" in 2011 and the "No Way Out Tour" in support of label mates, The Acacia Strain, in August 2013. They released the EP, Still Firing, in 2017 via Rise Records.
