Biography
Loma is an American indie band formed in 2016 in Brussels, Belgium, and relocated to Dripping Springs, Texas. Formed by the two former members of Cross Record, Emily Cross (vocals, clarinet) and Dan Duszynski (drums), it was completed by Jonathan Meiburg (guitar, vocals), formerly of Shearwater, after a joint tour the same year. Their collaboration, born of mutual admiration, gave birth to a singular project blending atmospheric, experimental and art-rock influences. They released their self-titled debut album on Sub Pop in 2018, followed by Don't Shy Away (2020) and How Will I Live Without a Body? (2024).
