Biography

Alecia Elliott is an American country music singer and actress who was born in 1982. She was discovered by Lorrie Morgan in the mid-1990s. Elliott is famous for a musical career that includes the debut studio album I'm Diggin' It (2000), which reached number 18 on the US Country chart. Her discography includes the singles “I'm Diggin' It” (1999) and “You Wanna What?” (2000), the latter of which reached number 70. In 2001, she received a nomination for the American Music Award for Favorite Country New Artist. As an actress, she starred in the television series All About Us (2001) and co-wrote its theme song. After a period of inactivity, she returned in 2019 with the single “What Love Can Do”. Her discography also includes the studio recording Voodoo (2020) and the single “Addicted” (2023).
