Biography

Albin Berger, born Albin Bucher on July 3, 1955, in Friedrichshafen, Germany, was a German musician and singer. He studied trumpet, piano, guitar, and keyboard at the conservatory in Bregenz. From 1980 to 1984, Berger served as the lead singer and guitarist for The Flippers, succeeding Roland Bausert. Following his departure from The Flippers in late 1984, he embarked on a solo career, releasing several albums and singles under Koch Records. Notable releases include "Wenn du heut' erwachst" (1987) and "Addio, Madonna mia" (1989). Berger also collaborated with Roland Bausert as Albin Berger and Roland B. Band from 1987 to 1989, touring extensively during this period. His solo albums include Lieben Heißt.... (1987), Golden Island (1988), and Ich halt' zu dir (1989).
