Skew Siskin are a German hard rock band from Berlin formed in 1990. The ensemble was established when guitarist Jim Voxx met vocalist Nina C. Alice, later adding drummer Nik Terry and bassist Jogi Rautenberg. They achieved professional recognition for an aggressive hard rock sound compared to AC/DC and Motörhead. After signing with Giant Records, they released their eponymous debut studio album, Skew Siskin (1992). The recording featured the track âIf the Walls Could Talkâ (1992), which was broadcast on MTV. Between 1993 and 1994, the group toured Europe and the United States with artists including Accept, Alice Cooper, Anthrax, and Black Sabbath. The ensemble collaborated with Lemmy of Motörhead on several occasions. Their recording career includes the studio recordings Electric Chair Music (1996), What the Hell (1999), and Album of the Year (2003).
