A.J. Roach, born in 1975 in Newport News, Virginia, is an American singer. After moving to San Francisco, he met key musicians including Tom Meshishnik and Todd Sickafoose, who produced his debut album Dogwood Winter (2003). His second album, Revelation, reached Number 1 on the Euro-Americana Chart in December 2006. Roach was also recognized for his extensive touring, performing up to 250 dates per year. He won the general category of the 12th Annual Chris Austin Songwriting Award at MerleFest in 2004. His third album, Pleistocene, was released in March 2011.
