Biography
The Ai Kuwabara Trio Project is a jazz outfit led by pianist Ai Kuwabara (born September 21, 1991 in Chiba, Japan). The trio also features drummer Shintaro Imamura and bassist Yusuke Morita. Kuwabaraâs musical career began after she graduated as a jazz piano major from the music department at Senzoku Gakuen High School. The trioâs debut album was 2012âs From Here to There. Initially released independently. Other albums by the trio include The Sixth Sense (2013), The Window (2014), and Love Theme (2015). Kuwabara then went solo and has continued to tour and collaborate with other jazz greats including drummer Steve Gadd and bassist Will Lee.
