Biography
Malaysian singer-songwriter, actor and director Ah Niu was born in Penang in 1976. His debut album, 'City Blue Sky', was released in 1997 but it failed to make much of an impact. It wasn't until Taiwanese singer Richie Jen covered Ah Niu's song 'Dui Mian De Nü Hai Kan Guo Lai' that people took notice of his music. His second album, 'Sing a Song for You' came in 1998 with 'Peach Blossoms Are Blooming' following in 2006.
As an actor, he has starred in 'Ice Kacang Puppy Love' (2010), 'The Wedding Diary 2' (2013), 'Rembat' (2015) and 'A Journey of Happiness' (2019). He is also a credited songwriter, with credits for other artists including Rene Liu and Karen Mok.
