Biography
Mandopop performer Bii was born July 7, 1989 in Butterworth, Malaysia. He began singing while in high school, and after visiting Taiwan with a family friend he connected with the head of Eagle Music, and that company signed him. In 2010 he released both his first EP, Bii, as well as his debut LP Bii Story, which featured him singing in both Mandarin and his native Korean. In 2011 he decided to become a citizen of Taiwan and at that point took a hiatus from show business to fulfill his required military duty to the country. By 2013 he returned with the aptly titled Come Back to Bii. He also appeared in the film Love Around that year, and contributed multiple tracks to the movieâs soundtrack. 2014âs Action Bii marked one of his most successful years which saw him winning multiple industry awards for songs like âCome Back to Meâ and for his popularity. 2016âs Iâm Bi to the Double and 2017âs Bii Your Light maintained his profile. In 2021 he returned with the single âSeeking Loveâ.
