Ady Suleiman was a British singer-songwriter from a small town near Nottingham who built his career around a modern interpretation of classic soul. Raised on a wide range of influences including Jimi Hendrix, Lauryn Hill, B.B. King, Stevie Wonder, and Ray Charles, he began playing guitar at a young age and initially learned music by covering his heroes before moving on to writing his own material. What started as a personal passion gradually developed into a professional path, as Suleiman discovered that songwriting could become his lifeâs work. He gained wider recognition with his debut album Memories (2018), released on Pemba Records, a 13-track record that established his introspective and emotionally direct style. His track, "What If"(2026), which was including the album Chasing (2026), introduced his warm, expressive voice and a sound that blended vintage soul with contemporary R&B, funk, and jazz.
