Biography

Amber Mark, born December 9, 1993 in Summertown, Tennessee, is an American singer. Raised on a farm by her Jamaican father and German mother, Mia Mark, Amber developed an early interest in music. Her mother, who was a painter, gave her first guitar to Amber, sparking her musical journey. After moving between various cities including Miami, New York, Munich, and Berlin, Amber settled back in New York City where she interned at Roc Nation. In 2016, Mark released her debut single "Space" on SoundCloud, marking the beginning of her music career. Her first album, 3:33am, was released in May 2017 and featured songs representing the six stages of grief, with each track reflecting a personal loss. The album included samples of her mother's voice in the song "Monsoon". In 2018, she released the EP Conexão which included the single "Love Me Right". Mark was also a featured artist on Chromeo's Head over Heels, nominated for "Best Engineered Album" at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards in 2019. Her subsequent albums include What It Is (September 24, 2021) and Loosies (November 22, 2024). She released a single, "Let Me Love You", in 2025.
