Adequate Seven was a Welsh band formed in 2000 in Cardiff, Wales. The group blended hip hop, punk, and funk music. Their recordings include the EP Adequate 7 EP (2001) and the debut album Songs of Innocence and of Experience (2003). The band performed on tour across the United Kingdom and Europe and appeared at festivals including Reading and Compass Point. Their discography includes the album Here on Earth (2006), which was named by Music News as one of ten albums defining the 21st century. The band became inactive in 2006. Their final recordings include the live album Last Night in London (2006).
