Adeem the Artist, born in 1988 in Locust, North Carolina, is an American singer-songwriter. At age 12, Adeem moved to Syracuse, New York, and began performing on cruise ships at 20. After relocating to Knoxville, Tennessee, Adeem started recording music, releasing The Living Room Tapes in 2011 and [Syracuse.] in 2013. Other notable releases include the EP Beautiful Dreamer (2014) and the albums Kyle Adem is Dead (2016) and Forgotten Songs & American Dreams (2019). In 2021, Adeem released Cast-Iron Pansexual, which featured the single "I Wish You Would've Been a Cowboy" co-written with Summer Awad. The album received critical acclaim from Rolling Stone and American Songwriter. Following this success, Adeem toured with American Aquarium in 2021 and signed with Thirty Tigers in April 2022. Their first release under the label was White Trash Revelry (2022). In 2023, Adeem received a nomination for Emerging Act of the Year at the Americana Music Honors & Awards.
