Biography

Adam Hood, born in Opelika, Alabama, is an American singer-songwriter. He released his debut EP 6th Street and album 21 To Enter on May 11, 2004. In 2007, Hood released the album Different Groove, produced by Pete Anderson. That year, he opened for Taylor Hicks, performed at Diversafest in Tulsa, and appeared at the Austin City Limits Music Festival. His music video for "Hell of a Fight" ranked number 5 on CMT's "Today's Top Videos" on February 18, 2012. Hood has toured with artists such as Pat Green, Todd Snider, Miranda Lambert, Leon Russell, and Ian Moore, and was part of the Willie Nelson Throwdown Tour in 2011. He was signed with Carnival Records and served as a songwriter for Carnival Music Publishing from 2009 to 2015. In January 2015, Rolling Stone mentioned Hood as one of the top 10 country artists listeners should know.
