Biography

Bob Zabor, known professionally as Jawbone, was an American blues musician from Detroit. He began his career as a one-man band, playing harmonica, guitar, and tambourine with a deliberate lo-fi sound reminiscent of early blues recordings. His work gained initial recognition when it appeared on BBC Radio 1's John Peel show in 2004. Jawbone released his debut album Dang Blues in 2004. His subsequent album, Hauling, was released later that year on Loose Music. Throughout his career, Jawbone's music was featured on various compilation albums and magazine CDs, including the Johnny Cash Tribute CD with his cover of "Get Rhythm" and This Is Punk Rock Blues Vol. 1 featuring "4-11-44".
