Biography
Acid Drinkers are a Polish thrash metal band from PoznaÅ formed in 1986. The founding lineup consisted of vocalist and bassist Tomasz Pukacki, known as âTitusâ, and guitarist Robert Friedrich, known as âLitzaâ, alongside guitarist Darek Popowicz and drummer Maciej Starosta. They achieved professional recognition for a crossover thrash sound with their debut studio album, Are You a Rebel? (1990). Their recording career includes the studio recordings Dirty Money, Dirty Tricks (1991), Strip Tease (1992), and Vile Vicious Vision (1993). In 2004, they released the studio recording Rock is Not Enough (2004). Their discography includes the studio recording Verses of Steel (2008), issued through the label Mystic Production. Guitarist Aleksander Mendyk, known as âOlassâ, died in 2008.
