Carlos Abraham Duque Alcivar, known professionally as Abe Duque, was born in 1968 in Ecuador. He is an American techno DJ and music producer. He moved to New York at age two with his parents and began his music career as a keyboardist and hobby DJ. Duque produced for labels such as Tension, Disko B, and Oval, and joined the DJ collective Rancho Relaxo Allstars. He has released music on his own label, Abe Duque Records, in 2002 and released notable albums, including Don't Be So Mean (2009) and Live and on Acid (2010).
