Biography

Abacabb, a deathcore band from Sterling, Virginia, was formed in 2004. Known for their deathcore style, which blended elements of hardcore punk, death metal, and metalcore, the band was recognized for incorporating breakdowns, bass drops, and rapid-fire drumming into their music. The band initially released three demo CDs within their first two years of existence and their last demo, titled Abacabb, featured two tracks and was released by 187 Records. In late 2008, Abacabb signed with Sumerian Records, leading to the release of their sole album, Survivalist, on January 20, 2009. The band toured extensively with notable acts such as After the Burial and Fellsilent. Despite critical acclaim, the group disbanded in 2010 but reunited briefly in 2012 for a benefit concert.
