Biography

Arkaea, a metal band, was formed in 2008 by Fear Factory members Raymond Herrera and Christian Olde Wolbers. They recorded a demo and sent it to Threat Signal vocalist Jon Howard, leading to the formation of Arkaea. Bassist Pat Kavanagh from Threat Signal completed the lineup. Their debut album, Years in the Darkness, was released in 2009. The band toured extensively from January 2009 through November 2010, including performances at Germany's Wacken Open Air festival in July 2009. The band became inactive in 2012.
