Biography
Wu Bai & China Blue was formed in 1992 in Taiwan by lead vocalist and guitarist Wu Junlin (stage name Wu Bai), bassist Xiao Zhu, keyboardist Da Mao, and drummer Dino Zavolta. Wu Bai had already issued his solo album æä¸å¥äººæ¯å¿«æ¨çäº in 1992, but the groupâs first album under the collective name was 浪人æ
æ in 1994, establishing a new wave of live rock performances across Taiwanâs pub circuit, from æ¯å£¤ and The Gate to larger venues. The band released a steady stream of albums over the next decades, including ç½é´¿ (1999), å¤ªç©ºå½ (2008), and the live record ä¼ä½°çLive (1995). In 2005 the group released the concept album éé¢äºº, while the 2006 release ç´ç年代 reflected a more melodic direction. The band continued touring with notable shows such as å¬ä¹ç« (2002) and 空襲è¦å ± Live (1999). In 2018 the éé¢å°æ±ºæ¼å±æå
¨ç´é documentary highlighted the groupâs longevity.
