Biography

A Pale Horse Named Death is an American metal band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2010 by Sal Abruscato. The group's initial lineup included Matt Brown as producer and engineer, with Abruscato handling vocals, guitars, and drums. Their debut album, And Hell Will Follow Me, was released in 2010 and featured collaborations with Mina Caputo of Life of Agony on background vocals and Ulrich Krieger of Lou Reed's band on saxophone. The album was ranked number 5 by Revolver Magazine for the year 2011. In 2013, they released their second studio album, Lay My Soul to Waste, which received critical acclaim. Their third album, When the World Becomes Undone, was released in 2019 and marked a significant change in band members with Joe Taylor replacing Matt Brown on guitar and Tommy Spano joining as drummer. In 2021, they released their fourth studio album, Infernum in Terra.
