Biography
Real name Douglas Furtick, R&B and soul singer 803Fresh was born in Augusta, Georgia, on February 19, 1990. He grew up in Hollow Creek and began singing in public at church at an early age. After losing his father at the age of fourteen, he joined the Cedar Brach Association Youth Choir, with whom he toured the East Coast. Influenced by the great soul masters, 803Fresh forged his own style, performing solo in the Southern states and beyond, delivering his vision of "Carolina Soul". In between tours, he began recording in 2023 for Snake Eyez Music Group. After a series of predominantly R&B tracks, he pays tribute to James Brown in the way he sings "Boots on the Ground", which reached number 30 on the Top 30 Radio Adult R&B chart.
