6. Cadde, a Turkish alternative rock band formed in 2002 in İzmir, was founded by Emre Aydın and Onur Ela. The group initially gained attention through demo recordings of "Rüyamdaki aptal kadin" and "Tesadüfen", which they released online. In 2003, after winning the musical competition Sing Your Song, 6. Cadde signed with Universal Music Turkey and released their debut album 6.Cadde. The first single from this album was a cover of "Sabuha", originally performed by Ibrahim Tatlises. Following the release of their debut album, Onur Ela left the band to pursue other interests. Emre Aydın subsequently went solo, achieving significant success with his hit song "Afili Yalnızlık" featuring GRGDN. In 2019, 6. Cadde returned with a new lineup, including Ahmet Kalabay replacing Onur Ela, and released the album Uyut Beni.
