13 & God is an American indie hip hop duo formed in 2003, originating from a collaboration between Themselves and The Notwist. The group's debut EP, Men of Station, was released in 2005, followed by their self-titled album, 13 & God, in the same year. Both releases were under the labels Anticon and Alien Transistor. The group's live performances featured Jordan Dalrymple, who joined after Dax Pierson became quadriplegic following a 2005 tour accident. In 2008, they released their first live album, Live in Japan. Their second studio album, Own Your Ghost, was announced for release in 2011. The album included the track "Sure as Debt", which had been performed during a 2007 tour.
