Biography
ZYX was formed in 2003 as a Jâpop group under Hello! Project, led by Morning Musume member Mari Yaguchi. The lineup featured six Hello! Project Kids members who would later join °Câute and Berryz KÅbÅ. The groupâs debut single, "Iku ZYX! Fly High", was released in 2003, followed by "Shiroi Tokyo". ZYX performed sporadically in subsequent Hello! Project concerts but did not issue further releases. The group officially disbanded when Mari Yaguchi left Hello! Project and the ensemble in March 2009, marking the end of the original lineup. In Julyâ¯2009, a new formation, ZYXâα, was announced, with a mix of new and old members, which appeared in Hello! Project events.
