Hiroshi Tamaki, born çæ¨å® on 14 January 1980 in Nagoya, is a Japanese actor and singer. He was discovered by a talent agent while shopping with friends during his high school years, leading to his debut in the drama Am I Weird? ("ç§ã£ã¦ã¸ãï¼ Watashitte Hen?") in 1998. His music career began with the single "Seasons", released in June 2004 under Yoshimoto R&C. His debut album RIPPLE followed later that year in December 2004. In 2006, he signed with Avex Trax and released his first single under the label "Love Goes/eyes". His acting career also flourished, notably with roles in Waterboys (2001) and Nodame Cantabile (2006), which significantly boosted his popularity. He portrayed Shinichi Chiaki in Nodame Cantabile, a role that became one of his most recognised performances. He continued to release music, including the EP æ±ããããã in March 2008, and the album Start in August 2012. Throughout his career, Hiroshi Tamaki has lent his voice to various dubbing roles, such as Owen Grady in the Jurassic World film series and Alex the Lion in the Madagascar animated films. His extensive filmography includes notable works like Christmas Eve (2000) and Kingdom 4: Return of the Great General (2024).
