Zinny J. Zan, born Bo Stagman on January 18, 1964, in Stockholm, is a Swedish rock and heavy metal singer. He began his musical career as a drummer for various groups before forming Easy Action in 1981, which became the first Swedish act to sign a worldwide deal with Warner Bros. Records. In the late 1980s, Zan moved to New York to join the band Kingpin, later renamed Shotgun Messiah. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1989 and reached number 52 on the Billboard 200 chart. Zan left the group in 1990 and later formed Zan Clan, releasing Citizen of Wasteland in 1994. He released the solo album City Boy Blues in 2002, which Classic Rock Magazine named Comeback Album of the Year. Zan participated in reunions with Easy Action and formed the group Shotgun in 2013. In 2017, he released the Swedish-language solo album Ãr Ni Kvar Därute? under the name Stagman.
