Biography

Zac Harmon, born William Zach Harmon is an American blues musician from Jackson, Mississippi. He played guitar for notable musicians such as Dorothy Moore and Sam Myers during his high school and college years. In the 1980s, Harmon moved to Los Angeles to pursue a music career. His debut solo album Live at Babe and Ricky’s Inn was released in 2002. Harmon won the 2004 International Blues Challenge for Best Unsigned Blues Band with the Mid South Blues Revue. He also earned the Blues Music Award for Best New Artist Debut in 2006 for his album The Blues According to Zacariah (2005). In 2019, he debuted at the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival. Harmon's 2021 album Long As I Got My Guitar notably won Soul Blues Album of the Year at the Blues Music Awards in 2022.
