Yvonne Curtis, born Yvonne McIntosh in Jamaica, is a Jamaican-British singer active since the 1960s. She moved to the United Kingdom as a teenager, settling in London, where she pursued her musical career. Curtisâ breakthrough came with the 1978 release of âWhatâs Your Nameâ on Third World Music, followed by âConvenient Womanâ on Empire Records. She later joined Brown's Music Records and became the lead singer of the Serenaders, releasing hits such as âOnly for Loversâ and âSweet Loving,â which helped establish her international fanbase. Over the decades, she has released numerous albums, including Eternal Love (2001) and Just as I Am (2002). She has performed globally in countries such as Germany, Nicaragua, and Brazil. Curtis has appeared on television shows like The Warehouse and The Big Breakfast.
