Yuka Masaki (真崎ゆか), born 4 March 1986 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, is a Japanese contemporary R&B and pop singer. After playing handball for the U-16 national junior team, she studied at a Tokyo music school where she cultivated an interest in African-American music, eventually turning to a professional singing career. In 2009, Yuka Masaki signed her first contract with Universal Music Japan, and on 16 February 2011 she released her debut single “Last Kiss”featuring KG. She followed with the single “Negai” in 2012, and later that year released “Sweet Pain” with Shion as a separate single. Her full-length album Love Space was issued on 21 September 2011.
