Yudai Takenaka , born 10â¯Novemberâ¯1995 in Himeji, HyÅgo Prefecture, Japan, is a rock vocalist who began performing during high school by forming a cover band for ONEâ¯OKâ¯ROCK. In 2013 he founded the fiveâmember band Novelbright, and the group made its indie debut with the miniâalbum SKYWALK in Octoberâ¯2018. After signing with Universal Sigma, Novelbright released the single "Sunny drop" on 17â¯Augustâ¯2020, marking Yudaiâs majorâlabel debut. He served as the host of Novelbrightâ¯Yu-dynamite Nippon on Nippon Broadcasting from Octoberâ¯2020 to Marchâ¯2021. In 2025 he appeared on Geneki Kao JAPAN, finishing in the Topâ¯7, and later that year released his solo single "Love Story" on 10â¯Novemberâ¯2025.
