Biography
Born in West Memphis, Arkansas, YTB Fatt is a hip-hop artist specializing in hard-hitting, rough-edged Dirty South rap. He began releasing original songs in 2019, earning an audience with songs like "Come & Get Me," "In My City," and "At the Store." One of his newly-made fans was fellow rapper Moneybagg Yo, who became Fatt's mentor and champion. Still a teenager, YTB Fatt signed with Moneybagg Yo's label, Bread Gang, and moved to Miami to begin work on his next solo project. Who Is Fatt, Fatt's first mixtape, was released in 2023, featuring songs like "No Lover Boy," "Bet I Whip It," and "Free Billy (Freestyle)." Who Is Fatt included numerous guest appearances. The same release as its release, he also collaborated with Moneybagg Yo on "Shot Off Gumbo" and "Rock Out." In 2024, YTB Fatt released the standalone single "Secrets," which peaked at number 88 on the Top 200 Shazam chart in the United States. The song also became a viral on video platforms, peaking at number 21 on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 in the US that same spring. Also appearing on the charts was the debut album On Zai, which hit number 133 on the Billboard 200 during the summer months.
