Yonin Bayashi is a progressive rock band formed in 1971 that made its debut in 1974 with the album âOne Touch, Immediate Explosionâ (1974). Known for their sophisticated musicianship and original compositionsâwhich blend progressive rock with elements of hard rock and psychedelic rockâthey are regarded as one of the leading acts of Japanese rockâs early days. The bandâs final lineup consisted of two members: Katsutoshi Morizono (vocals, guitar) and Daiji Okai (drums). Their major works include the albums *Ishoku Sokuhatsu* (1974), and âGolden Picnicsâ (1976); they are also known for songs such as âOne Touch, Immediate Explosionâ (1974), âFestivalâ (1974), and âMy Little Brother Rode a Flying Saucerâ (1975).
