Biography

Park Yong-ju, known professionally as YONGZOO, was born on May 22, 1994, in Republic of Korea. He is a singer and songwriter specializing in Contemporary R&B and Soul music. Park began his career by training for three years at SM Entertainment from 2012 to 2016, where he was part of the pre-debut team SM Rookies under the stage name Yongju. In 2017, using the stage name Jhomie, he collaborated with music composer Ferdy on Ferdy's Project, releasing two singles: "See the Light" and "At That Place." Park debuted as YONGZOO on May 22, 2018, under Mostworks Entertainment. His debut EP Are You Human? was released in July 2018, followed by his first full-length album This Time in April 2019. Notable singles include "Lost My Way" and "Cause It’s You." YONGZOO has contributed to various television soundtracks, including the horror series Sweet Home.
