Ryu Su-jeong (born on November 19, 1997) is a South Korean singer, mostly known for being one of the lead vocalists of K-pop sensation Lovelyz. Originally from Daejeon, Ryu graduated from the Seoul School of Performing Arts before joining Woollim Entertainment as a secret trainee for the Lovelyz project. The group debuted in 2014 with Girlsâ Invasion (2014), whose smashing success propelled her to stardom in her native South Korea. In the following years, Ryu became a highly sought-after talent, collaborating with labelmates Infinite H on âBumpâ (2016) and singing on Youngjunâs âStart of Summerâ (2017). She also made her debut as a lyricist on the track âHide and Seek,â featured on R U Ready? (2017), Lovelyzâs second full-length release. After a string of highly successful EPs with the group, Ryu decided to embark on a solo career, which started with Tiger Eyes (2020). Preceding the release of the album, the title track was released as a single, reaching Number 9 on the Gaon Album Chart. In 2023, Ryu released her first studio album, Archive of Emotions. She released her second EP, 2ROX in 2024 and her third EP, NEW CAR in 2025.
