Biography

Yardena Arazi, born on September 25, 1951, in Kabri, Israel, is a singer known for her contributions to pop music. She began her musical journey at 16 by joining the group Beit Rothschild. Her breakthrough came as part of the trio Chocolate Mentha Mastik, representing Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 1976 with "Emor Shalom," which secured sixth place. Arazi later represented Israel solo in the Eurovision Song Contest 1988 with "Ben Adam (Humain)," achieving seventh place. She also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 held in Jerusalem. Arazi's achievements include being elected singer of the year six times and winning the Kinor David award.
