DazzlingBAD is a Japanese visual kei band formed on November 1, 2020, featuring vocalist iT, guitarists Yuta and MASA, bassist Ayaha, and support drummer Loa. Emerging from the 2018 session cover band HATEman, they debuted as DazzlingBAD at 40MiN NIGHT CORE 3MAN in November 2020. The group quickly gained recognition through media appearances and their distinctive gothic-metal-influenced visual kei style. Their debut single ”CAMERA OBSCURA" launched in February 2021, followed by the mini-album The Beginning of the END later that year. After lineup changes, including MASA’s addition in 2021, DazzlingBAD continued evolving with dark, provocative lyrics and intense live shows. Notable releases include Fear (2022) and Antagonism (2024). In 2023, they introduced an alter-ego project embracing 90s kote kei influences, further showcasing their versatility. The band also expanded internationally with their May 2025 European debut at KitsuCon in Switzerland. In 2025, DazzlingBAD released Immortal Emperor, a single that reinforced their reputation for blending gothic metal with visual kei traditions, continuing to push their musical and aesthetic boundaries.
