World Trade is an American progressive rock or a neo-progressive rock band formed in 1989, featuring Billy Sherwood on bass and vocals, Bruce Gowdy on guitar, Guy Allison on keyboards, and Mark T. Williams on drums. The band evolved from an earlier project called Lodgic, which also included Sherwood and Allison. Their debut album, World Trade, was released in 1989 and co-produced by Keith Olsen. Between the release of the debut and the follow-up album, Sherwood and Gowdy collaborated with the band Yes (specifically during the period between 1989 and 1991) following the temporary departure of Jon Anderson and Trevor Rabin. In 1995, World Trade released their second album, Euphoria, with Jay Schellen replacing Williams on drums. This album featured contributions from Yes bassist Chris Squire on backing vocals. In 2017, World Trade reunited to release their third album, Unify, featuring the original lineup.
