Biography
Wolfgang Seidel, born in 1949 in West Berlin, Germany, is a German avant-garde musician. He began playing drums at age 16 and co-founded the socially critical rock group Ton Steine Scherben in 1970. With Ton Steine Scherben, Seidel played on their single "Macht kaputt was euch kaputt macht" (1970) and their debut album Warum geht es mir so dreckig? (1971). In 1972, he joined Eruption, a group founded by Conrad Schnitzler. He collaborated with Schnitzler until his death in 2011, releasing albums such as Consequenz I + II and Con3 under the name Sequenza. Seidel later took a break from music to work as a graphic designer before returning in the early 2000s. He released albums like Five Eyes (2014) with Alfred Harth and TOC (2021) with Julia Brüssel, Frank Gratkowski, and Lothar Ohlmeier.
