Biography

Wobble Jaggle Jiggle were a neo-psych group formed in 1989 in Brighton by guitarist, bassist and vocalist Robert “Wobbly Bob” Chambers, drummer Ivor Vasquez, and bassist Ben “The Bass” Jackson, with vocalist and keyboardist Caroline Davey joining in 1991. Their first professional appearance was in 1992 when they contributed the track "Thoughts of the Sky" to the Delerium Records compilation Fun With Mushrooms. The band released the vinyl reissue of Overflowing Bowl Of Green Jelly on Magic Gnome in 1994 and the LP/CD It Came From Nowhere on September Gurls in 1999. After Ivor Vasquez’s 1996 departure and Caroline Davey’s 1997 exit, Robert Chambers dissolved the group around 2000; he later formed Daddy Fantastic in 2003 and died in December 2008 at age 41.
