Biography
Willy Moon is a New Zealand musician living in London, the object of excellent word-of-mouth after the publication of just four tracks in two years. Born in 1989, he left Wellington at the age of 18 for Europe, first London, then Berlin, where he began composing, and then London again. Blending 1950s rock aesthetics and rhythms with hip-hop beats and a hint of electro, he released his first single on MySpace in 2010. The track was spotted by a major label and Jack White's label, Thrid Man Records, which released his second single in 2012. His debut album Here's Willy Moon was released in April 2013.
