Will Hoge, born November 14, 1972, in Nashville, Tennessee, is an American singer known for his work in Americana and country music. Influenced by his musician father, Will Hoge initially studied history at Western Kentucky University before pursuing a career in music. He released an early EP with his band Spoonful in the mid-1990s and began touring the American South. His first studio album, Carousel, was independently released in 2001 and later re-released by Atlantic Records after Hoge signed a deal in early 2002. Despite poor promotion from Atlantic, Will Hoge's career continued with self-releases such as The Man Who Killed Love and Draw the Curtains. Notable collaborations include tours with Midnight Oil and Shinedown, and performances at the Grand Ole Opry.
