Wicked Movie Cast was formed in the United States in 2024 as the collective musical unit assembled for the 2024 film Wicked directed by Jonâ¯M.â¯Chu. The ensemble, comprising the filmâs principal cast-Cynthiaâ¯Erivo, Arianaâ¯Grande, Jeffâ¯Goldblum, Michelleâ¯Yeoh, Jonathanâ¯Bailey, Ethanâ¯Slater, Peterâ¯Dinklage, and other supporting performers-released its debut soundtrack Wicked: The Soundtrack on 22â¯Novemberâ¯2024. The album featured key numbers from the film such as "Defying Gravity" and "Popular", and it entered the Billboardâ¯200 at number 3, a significant chart position for a musical adaptation that year. In 2025 the group expanded its discography with Wicked: Oneâ¯Wonderfulâ¯Night â The Soundtrack (7â¯Novemberâ¯2025) and the subsequent releases Wicked: Forâ¯Good â The Soundtrack (21â¯Novemberâ¯2025 and 19â¯Decemberâ¯2025), each of which received critical acclaim and contributed to the filmâs Academy Award nominations for Bestâ¯Originalâ¯Song and Bestâ¯Music â Originalâ¯Score. The collectiveâs recordings were praised for their vocal cohesion and production quality, earning the group a nomination for theâ¯Grammyâ¯Award for Bestâ¯Originalâ¯Song in aâ¯Film.
