Biography

White Sister was an American hard rock band formed in 1980 in Burbank, California. The group included Dennis Churchill-Dries, Rick Chadock, Gary Brandon, and Gus Moratinos. They played their first gig at The Ice House in Pasadena. In 1984, White Sister released their self-titled debut album White Sister on EMI America Records, produced by Gregg Giuffria of Angel. Their song "Save Me Tonight" appeared on the soundtrack for the 1985 film Fright Night. The band's second album, Fashion by Passion, was released in 1986 and featured the songs "April" and "Save Me Tonight". In 2008, original members reunited for performances at the Firefest rock festival. Richard Wright, who joined as drummer in 1981, died on June 14, 2006. Rick Chadock died on October 15, 2012.
