Biography

We All Together was a Peruvian pop rock band formed in 1971 in Lima. The group initially consisted of Carlos Guerrero on vocals, Saúl Cornejo and Manuel Cornejo on guitar and drums respectively, Ernesto Samamé on bass, and Carlos Salom on organ. Their debut album, We All Together, released in 1972, included covers such as "Carry On Till Tomorrow" by Badfinger and "Some People Never Know" by Paul McCartney, along with six original tracks. The band gained significant popularity with their hit single "Hey Revolution", which was declared the best national pop rock song of the year by the INC in 1972. Their second album, Volumen II, released in 1974, featured all original compositions and included notable songs like "Ozzy" and "Persons and Faces". The band disbanded in 1974 but reunited in 1989, continuing to release albums such as La década (1990), Cincuenta/Cincuenta (1991), Quédate (1993), Aliteraciones (1998), We All Together (Back Together) (2008), and Surprise (2009)—and continued performing until a farewell concert on November 5, 2011, marking 40 years since their formation. Founding guitarist Saúl Cornejo died on February 12, 2026.
