Biography

Warp 11, an independent rock band from Sacramento, California, formed in 1999 by Karl Miller, Brian Moore, Jeff Hewitt, and Kiki Stockhammer. The group initially created original songs about Star Trek for a streaming Internet video show hosted by Miller. Their debut album, Suck My Spock, was released in 2000. Warp 11's music spanned various styles including alternative, classic rock, punk, country, and blues. The band gained notable exposure with their song "Everything I Do, I Do with William Shatner", featured in the Comedy Central Roast of William Shatner in 2006. Throughout their career, Warp 11 released eight full-length studio albums. Jeff Hewitt passed away on October 11, 2022, from complications of an ongoing medical condition. The band played their final show on May 4, 2024, celebrating their 25th anniversary.
